The video club's rules
Returns of video cassettes and dvds
All cassettes must be returned the following day before 8:00PM. A drop-off box is available inside and outside the store.
Late fees
A fees per cassette of dvd will be charged up to the daily after 8:00PM. A fee of 1.00$ will also be charged for each cassette returned that has not been rewound.
Reservations
All films may be reserved at the video club or by phone, for the same day or for the following day. Video games can be reserved on a same-day basis only. Reserved cassettes should be available at 8:00PM.
Defective Cassettes or DVD
- Please stop the cassette or DVD where the problem occurs.
- A member of our staff will immediately verify the problem. X-rated movies will be checked within 24 to 36 hours.
- If the problem re-occurs upon store verification, you will receive a credit for the same title. Your credit may be used immediately or at a later date... If there is only one copy of that particular title, you will receive a credit for the rental of a film from the same price category.
- If no defect is found upon store verification, no credit will be given... in all cases, no exception.
- 90% of all video problems involve a tracking adjustment. Each film has it's own adjustment and ALL VCRs are equiped with a manual tracking adjustment control either on the VCR itself or it's remote control.
- Defective video games: Our staff will verify the problem as soon as possible (within 24 to 36 hours). A credit will be given, after verification, if in fact defective.
Previously rented films
No exchanges will be made for any cassette returned later than 45 minutes after your transaction.... in all cases, no exception.
Video Games
It is possible to exchange a game for any reason at any time (don't like it, too difficult, too easy, etc...). A fee of 2.00$ will be applied for each exchange. The return date remains the same, since this is merely an exchange.
** The time delay of 45 minutes is not applicable for a video games.
